We are Kevin + Ashleigh Hodges.

Hey There! I’m Ashleigh! I’ve had a passion for travel since my parents took me to Europe for the first time when I was 14 years old……. I was mesmerized by the new languages, new foods, architectural treasures, new ways of dressing. All of it! And, the one thing I discovered is that no matter where we live in the world, we all have more in common than we do differences! I’ve learned so much from visiting destinations around the world —- travel really is an amazing educational platform. My favorite travel destinations are the beautiful city of Paris and Sevilla…

Honestly, I’ve never met a travel destination I didn’t like.

Professionally, I work as an Instructional Aide to a classroom of curious Kindergarteners - they keep me on my toes! Creatively, I am a photographer and have sold my pieces to art collectors worldwide - in 2014 was selected to contribute pieces for the Annual Moms of Hollywood. I take most photos with my Sony a6400 but, do occasionally use an iPhone as well. I write our travel stories and take all photos that appear on the blog.

Kevin works for a high tech company in Silicon Valley. He also has a passion for baseball - when he’s not following the latest MLB scores + stats he too writes for the blog. His favorite destination is a toss-up between Rome and New York. He loves the sights and sounds of the big city and these two locations never fail to spark his interest and excitement. On our travels, you can oftentimes find him ducking into a shoe or clothing store —- He is usually the one who is more stylishly dressed! Perhaps, he’ll share the story of how he bought a little too much in Milan, Italy + we spent the day in the Post Office trying to navigate our way through shipping items from Italy!

Together, we are San Francisco Bay Area natives and inseparable college sweethearts with a shared enthusiasm for love, laughter, family and travel adventure. We have a best friend in one another and enjoy laughing together. We are newly empty-nesters which means we are redefining how we travel….. we’re enjoying this new season of traveling just the two of us but, occasionally we bring the kids along for a bit of family fun!
